CORNWALL

For our 4th anniversary and my 28th birthday, Mark gave me trip to Cornwall. It was perfect. We stayed in an old farmhouse B&B and explored all day. Here are a few pictures of our adventure:

Sea foam was billowing up off of the cliffs. And Mark very kindly chased a clump for me.

On our way up through Port Isaac, they were setting up for something. When we came back, the port was packed with people festivaling.

This staircase was insane. There's a far-away picture a little further down:

This is the staircase! Intense!

See the festival? They had beer in barrels, a band playing, burgers on the grill, games, and families everywhere.

Apparently these waters are full of sharks, seals, puffins, dolphins, and other cool creatures. Our B&B man told us "I can't guarantee you will see anything, but I can guarantee you they are there." :) Ha! Mark says he should have been a lawyer! But we did see a seal!

Here's a glimpse of the beach at Polzeath. It was PACKED. I've never been to such a busy beach. It was warm and the sand was so smooth, and we learned that British beachers use wind blockers and wetsuits, which was a new experience.
